On Tuesday, August 19th, Flushing hospital Medical Center cut the ribbon on its brand-new, state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit. The new NICU, which was named in loving memory of Robert Russo, will provide an environment for Flushing Hospital doctors and nurses to provide the highest-quality, specialized care to premature and low birthweight infants, as well as those born with complications.
Joining Flushing Hospital leadership to cut the ribbon on the new NICU was Frank Russo, Founder and CEO of Angels on the Bay, and Family as well as members of the Angels on the Bay Board of Directors.
